Windows Systems Engineer - AD Group Policy

Ergo are seeking a Windows Systems Engineer for an immediate contract role based out of Dublin or Cork. As a Windows Systems Engineer you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing Microsoft based environments with a focus on Active Directory Group Policy.

This is a Level 3 role which requires an onsite presence 2 days per week.

• Windows Server Configuration
• AD management
• Secure AD Boundaries
• Secure Domain Controllers
• Physical Security
• Secure Administrative Practices
• Backup & Recovery

• Monitoring server performance and security controls
• IT Project implementation

You should have experience in some / all of the following?

• M365 tech stack
• Active Directory, Domain Controllers, group policies, DNS
• Good understanding of backup and restoration methods
• CIS Benchmarks a real advantage
• Windows Server administration, support and patching
