We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Sean McAvinue as Head of AI at Ergo.
Sean’s new role marks an exciting step forward in our journey to help clients harness the power of artificial intelligence. With AI now embedded across almost every aspect of IT, Sean will lead the charge in enabling smarter, more innovative solutions that deliver real-world impact for the businesses we support.
Having joined Ergo as a graduate IT Engineer 14 years ago, Sean has grown his career through a series of leadership roles – most recently heading up our Modern Workplace Practice. Under his guidance, the team has gone from strength to strength, contributing to Ergo being named Microsoft Partner of the Year in Ireland six times and earning international recognition for our expertise in Merger and Acquisition Integration. Sean himself is a five-time Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Microsoft 365, a testament to his deep technical knowledge and commitment to excellence.
In his new role, Sean will focus on making AI accessible and practical, helping clients solve real business challenges and unlock new opportunities for growth. Whether it’s improving customer experiences, streamlining operations, or enabling smarter decision-making, Sean’s leadership will ensure AI continues to be a powerful enabler across all our solutions.
