Speakers:

Professor John Kelleher, Chair of Computer Science and Director of ADAPT 

Extensive background in artificial intelligence, beginning with a BSc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University. PhD in Artificial Intelligence in focusing on the intersection of language and vision within the context of situated dialogue. Research that explored how humans interact with robots or virtual environments through language, contributing to advancements in human-computer dialogue systems and AI.​ 

Lorne Chedzey, CIO at Ergo   

Lorne is Ergo’s CIO. With over 20+ years of experience, his expertise encompasses private, public, and hybrid clouds, with a focus on cloud-native development and application modernization. Lorne is responsible for innovation within Ergo, serving as a trusted IT advisor to clients. 

 

Professor David J. Hickton, founding director of the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. 

He served as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2016, tackling cyber threats and the opioid crisis. He holds faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Trinity College Dublin.
