He also has extensive experience in helping incident response teams resolve and close investigations, but his starting point is proactive consultancy, ensuring risk exception and corrective action management, training and awareness have all been carried out and embedded in the culture of the client company.

Our consultant has 35 years’ experience in the IT industry, in which time he has upskilled and embraced new challenges such GDPR, cyber security and data breach management. As cyberattacks escalated and date protection became more of challenge, he made sure he was qualified to provide protection that is as sophisticated as the threats.

He spent over two decades as an IT Manager in a state agency, overseeing and identifying the needs of nearly 500 employees. This included a massive a programme of work around implementing GDPR, which included awareness training, data and process discovery work, the implementation of remediation plans and data privacy impact assessments.

As well as first-hand experience in implementing cyber security policies and working on data breach remediation, he has demonstrated a wide range of skills throughout his career, such as team leadership, project management and IT governance.

With decades of IT experience spanning public and private sectors, and expertise that covers legacy as well as leading-edge IT, our consultant will provide complete oversight of your compliance and security status and advise on pathways to keep on top of new regulatory changes as they come down the line.

He has spent decades developing and expanding data protection services for businesses, conducted comprehensive data security reviews and stood over the implementation of GDPR projects for a wide range of customers.

In a wide-ranging career at the leading-edge of IT, he has also managed a major transformation programme in the public sector and headed up IT for a large financial institution. A particular speciality is working with legacy infrastructure and making it fit for purpose in the age of GDPR.
