Ergo Achieve Deloitte Gold Standard

Only three months into 2014 and Ergo has won a second award. At a Gala event in the Burlington Hotel on Friday March 7th, Ergo was honoured to be named as a Gold Standard Award winner in the ‘Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards’ programme 2014.

With wins in the previous four years, Ergo went through a rigorous application process to qualify for the much coveted Gold Standard. Deloitte looks for companies that are a symbol of Irish corporate success and recognises excellence in business. Achieving Gold Standard shows that Ergo has really cemented its place in the Irish marketplace. The ability to perform consistently in the key areas of strategy, commitment, finances and management performances across all key functions of business proves that Ergo can continually adapt and change to suit new markets but above all committing to the customers wants and needs.

John Purdy, CEO, Ergo, commented “The Deloitte judging panel took a holistic view and also considered how we operate in relation to our peers and how we compete in the industries that we are operating in. The judging panel continue to be impressed with our ability to adapt and change on a continual basis, our ambition to grow in new markets and our commitment to serving the customer. This is especially gratifying after the Great Place to Work award two weeks ago and is further endorsement of the complete teams ability to adapt to a very changing market”.
