Ergo snaps up CDSoft
Dublin IT firm Ergo has acquired CDSoft in a deal which it said would double the size of its product portfolio. No purchase price was disclosed, but Ergo chief executive John Purdy said that it was a seven-figure transaction. The combined businesses are expected to contribute at least 20 per cent to Ergo revenues in the first year, bringing the total revenue for the group to €30 million. As a joint entity, the enlarged company will account for 35 per cent of Microsoft’s virtualisation business in Ireland.
“The acquisition of CDSoft is just the start of an aggressive acquisition campaign which will build on Ergo’s product and services portfolio and the geographic reach of our service team,” said Purdy.
