Ergo Bucks Recession with 30 New Jobs
The Ergo Group is recruiting 18 people immediately with a further 12 positions coming on stream within months and another 50 by 2015. Bucking the economic trend, Ergo, one of Ireland’s fastest growing ICT services companies, is already on target to double its workforce from what was 125 in 2010 to 250 by the end of this year.
The company is planning for 25-30 per cent expansion by 2015 with year-on-year revenue growth of 10-15 per cent, fuelled by demand for infrastructure and software solutions, along with managed service propositions that include cloud computing.
The announcement comes in the same week that Ergo won a “Great Place to Work” award and was listed in Deloitte’s roll call of “Best Managed Companies”.
John Purdy, Chief Executive Officer of Ergo, said, “Our continued growth and success has been achieved by constantly evolving to give our customers what they need. There have been significant advancements in the way businesses use and consume technology, so I see expect that trend not only to continue but to accelerate.”
New positions for developers will be created around Business Intelligence and SharePoint, Microsoft’s collaborative working software. There will also be requirements for Senior Infrastructure Engineers, IT Engineers, Microsoft Certified Engineers and Technical Projects Managers.

The company was listed as one of the Best Medium Sized Companies 2012 in the “Great Place to Work” survey, an award that was entirely down to Ergo’s employees who completed a confidential survey.
