Ergo’s commitment to diversity achieves Silver award
The Irish Center for Diversity has awarded Ergo the prestigious Investors in Diversity Silver mark, which recognizes a company’s success in embedding equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in its business.
Silver is the second stage in a three tier ‘Investors in Diversity’ framework (Bronze, Silver, Gold), which is the only metric for measuring EDI in Ireland. The framework is built on a tested model of best practice and provides D&I diagnostics and benchmark to measure and inform an organization’s workplace culture in terms of fairness, respect, equality, diversity inclusion and engagement.
Paul McCann, Ergo CEO, said, “Every so often an award is given to Ergo which represents exactly where our hearts lie with our customers and employees. This one is testament to the hard work of all our people and the many diversity and inclusion initiatives we have put in place over the last few years.”
Last year, Ergo won the Bronze mark after undertaking initiatives that demonstrated a commitment to achieving EDI inside the organization. Now the focus is on achieving Gold status in 2023, which recognizes a company that has attained leadership credentials in implementing EDI best practice.
