Ergo Named as Authorised HP Device as a Service (DaaS) Partner
Ergo has become a HP Device as a Service (DaaS) partner, bringing unique experience and expertise to an IT segment expected to grow 54.7 percent (CAGR) between now and 2023 (Market Research Future) as organizations opt to invest in PCs and laptops as operational rather than capital expenditure.
By providing devices as part of an end-to-end service, Ergo relieves organizations of the time and resources needed to manage a fleet of PCs and laptops, while optimizing the employee experience and increasing productivity. The Device as a Service subscription model removes the need for ad hoc investment in multiple devices with disparate support contracts and refresh cycles.
Ergo CEO, John Purdy commented, “Reflecting the move in the market towards subscription based services, Device as Service is a perfect fit for Ergo and our mission to provide optimized IT services that deliver the best value to businesses. We are delighted to partner with HP on what we believe will be a game-changing service.”
Neil Sawyer, Partner Channel Business Director (UK&I), HP commented, “Combining HP hardware and analytics with Ergo’s trusted reputation as a Managed Services provider will bring a new dynamism to the Device as a Service market and change the way organizations empower their employees.”
Organizations embark on a complete lifecycle of services from discovery analysis of their existing estate to procurement, deployment, pro-active support, data wipe, device recovery and technology refresh. Intelligence gathered during discovery enables Ergo to choose the best suited device for end users, and subsequently helps to provide preventative and pro-active support.
“Our goal throughout is to facilitate an environment where devices are perpetually optimized. The business will benefit from more engaged employees, being always up to date, and from having full visibility over the cost and performance of their device fleet,” said John Purdy CEO, Ergo.
