Ergo Named as One of the Best Medium-sized Workplaces in Ireland 2012
At the Great Place to Work 10th Annual Awards Ceremony on the 22nd of February 2012, Ergo were named as one of the “Best Medium-sized Workplaces” in Ireland.
Ergo are delighted to be listed as a Best Workplace for two consecutive years. Commenting on this award, Ergo CEO John Purdy said: “We are honored to be a recipient of this most prestigious award again this year, it is significant for various reasons, we have long recognized that strategic goals cannot be successful without the full support of committed employees who enjoy their work. This award is an endorsement of that approach.”
The list of Best Workplaces is compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute who independently assess the results of a confidential survey completed by employees of participating organizations. Winning this award is completely down to Ergo’s employees who completed the confidential survey, 75 per cent of whom rated Ergo as a Great Pace to Work.
Presenting the awards, the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD said: “A key part of our enterprise and jobs recovery will be ensuring that our businesses become exemplars of best practice in everything they do, including the way they treat their staff. Today I am delighted to present these awards in recognition of companies and leaders who place the quality of their workplace at the center of their success. We will continue to support businesses who strive for excellence, not only in the quality of their products, but also in the quality of their workplaces.”
