Test Analyst in North Dublin

Ergo is seeking a Senior Test Analyst for a contract opportunity in Dublin. The successful Test Analyst will lead a new team responsible for the development and implementation of end-to-end testing strategy for a vital public sector project.

You should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies, and experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps.

ISTQB certification is required. This is a hybrid role with great day rates.

What will you do?

• Test planning and preparation: Analyse test requirements, define test conditions, and create detailed test cases.
• Test execution: Coordinate functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms.
• Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaboration with developers and product teams: Clarify requirements, support triage sessions, and ensure shared understanding of quality expectations.
• Test data creation: Prepare and maintain test data sets to support various test cycles.
• Automation contribution: Support the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable.
• Documentation and reporting: Produce clear test reports, metrics, and evidence for release readiness.
• Continuous improvement: Suggest enhancements to processes, tools, and ways of working.

The successful Test Analyst will have 5+ years of experience in the above areas and excellent stakeholder management skills.
